All of our building materials came in and we are beginning the process of putting together our robot. Students and mentors have split up into groups to work on individual parts of the robot that will eventually come together on the robot. We are working hard to hopefully have our robot up and running by the end of Saturday. Our specialized groups including media, strategy, field build and software are completing individual projects for the team. Some versa planetary gear boxes have been built, designs have also been produced for individual projects that need to be completed. One of our team members that specializes in graphics has been working on team designs as well as shirts.
In other news, our CNC machine finally arrived and is currently getting set up. The school district installed a brand new power outlet for it today (thank you Dan!) and we hope to be making parts with it soon.
