FIRST LEGO League (FLL)

FLL is a worldwide program that teaches STEM to children with an engaging, hands-on, team-oriented approach. Students work together in teams of 3-5 to solve engineering challenges and develop research skills by building and programming a LEGO robot and developing solutions to real-world problems. At the end of each season, the students celebrate their work at a friendly competition with teams from other schools. The season runs from September through December. Official registration is not open yet, however, if you’re interested in signing your child up for this fall’s programs, you can fill out the interest form now to make sure that you’re contacted.

LEGO League is split into two divisions for elementary school students – Challenge, or FLLC, for 4th and 5th graders, and Explore, or FLLE, for K-3rd graders. For more information, please navigate to the page with the information specific to the program for your child’s age.

FLL runs in the fall, but if you’re looking for an opportunity to engage your student over the summer, you may also want to check out our week-long Robocamps.
